Plot/Synopsis
Ambika (Kajol), her husband Shubankar, and their daughter Shweta live a peaceful life in Kolkata. After Shubankar’s father dies, he visits their ancestral village Chandrapur, where he mysteriously dies, possibly due to a cursed tree root. Ambika and Shweta return to sell the property, but when Shweta and other young girls from the village vanish after their first menstruation, Ambika is forced to stay and investigate. She uncovers an ancient curse linked to a demon named Aamsaja, blood rituals, and Kali Puja. As evil spreads, Ambika undergoes a spiritual awakening, channeling goddess Kali’s fury. In a climactic battle, she faces the demonic force to save her daughter and the other missing girls.
